A Reflection On Good Times

I am thrilled to share that one of the standout artists I've had the privilege of signing is none other than Erica Cody, an exceptionally talented Irish pop, R&B, and soul singer-songwriter. Currently vying for the opportunity to represent Ireland in this year's Eurovision, her musical prowess is undeniable.

Among her impressive repertoire, my favourite track has to be 'Queen.' This upbeat anthem is a celebration of self-love, radiating empowerment with every note. Erica Cody's ability to blend genres and deliver meaningful messages through her music is a testament to her artistry and the reason why she stands out. 

One of the most exciting projects I had the pleasure of working on during my tenure at Pure Sync involved collaborating with Three Mobile. The creative concept revolved around an animated bearded dragon named Jeff. The project demanded a genre that was open-ended but instantly recognisable, with a rebellious flair to appeal specifically to teenage boys, as featured in the creative. Simultaneously, it needed to possess broad appeal to a wider audience. The creative process was incredibly enjoyable, especially due to the sheer fun we had exploring numerous iconic songs that would complement the narrative.

We ultimately landed on the track 'I Love Rock 'n' Roll' by Joan Jett, perfectly complementing the rebellious and adventurous tone of the animated narrative. The fusion of creative elements and the selection of this legendary track made this project a standout and immensely satisfying experience.
